Who We Are
The Holmes Family
We are Parker and Lauren, a husband and wife team living in northern Michigan. We are passionate about stewarding the land, real food, and living with intention.
We haven’t always known this is what we wanted to do or how we wanted to live. However, through various formative experiences, we feel called to live and work this way. It brings us the most contentment and joy.
We strive to improve soil health through regenerative farming practices and forestry management. This is our priority. We are committed to mimicking nature’s principles by allowing the plants, the soil, and the animals to work together to benefit all.
We hold a high standard of quality. Quality in everything we do, from daily livestock management to lumber production to transparency with customers and maintaining beyond organic principles.
What We Do

Forest-Raised Pigs
Our pigs are raised outside in silvopasture settings, being a key component in land regeneration and woodland management. They spend their days freely expressing their unique characteristics. The pigs are moved to new paddocks frequently and supplemented with non-GMO feed and garden goods.

Pastured Poultry
Our laying hens are outside from sun up to sun down. This allows them to freely explore the pasture, finding insects, seeds and more. We move them across our pastures frequently. They lay beautiful eggs containing essential nutrients for our health.
Our meat chickens are in Salatin-style shelters, minimizing predator risk with ability to enjoy fresh air, sunshine and insects. The chickens are moved to new grass each day.

Grass-Fed Lamb
Our sheep are rotationally grazed through our pastures. They are a key component in land regeneration as they are moved to new grass every day. Grasses, forbs and legumes are 100% of their diet.
We offer delivery options in Cadillac, Big Rapids, Traverse City and Grand Rapids.
On-farm pick up and farm tours (by appointment) in LeRoy are available as well.
